dear friday,
welcome! please don't be offended, but i'm ready for you to be over so the weekend can be here!
dear weekend,
please go by slowly and last a long time.
sincerely,
you're best friend.
[1] i may or may not have spent my labor day watching the hunger games 3 times. i told bub-hub it was twice, and now he knows the truth.
[2] my name is sarah grace, and i watch honey boo boo. no shame.
[3] i've been taking a few pieces of the left over candy from the bachelorette party with me to work every day as an afternoon snack. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that my stash never runs out...but it's inevitable.
[4] i don't know what i was thinking, but i started insanity this week. holy moley. today is day 5. i'm dying all over. pure barre was really hard, but this is just a whole new level of ridiculousness.
[5] september has arrived which means summer berry season is almost over. i bought a giant box of strawberries at the grocery story on monday, and i've been devouring them like a berry-eating machine.
a cool front is coming through town today...high of 89. holla!
maybe bub-hub will go play with some puppies at the park!
what do you have planned for this lovely weekend??
I watched the Hunger Games last weekend too. I'm only up to twice since it was released though. And I agree with the strawberries, I'm going to miss having fresh ones so readily available for my morning smoothie! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love that movie!! I am finally getting to the second book! :) Yeah you are right about the berries...shoot I should have bought some the other day at the store!! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend!

I'm a little bit Hunger Games obsessed too, and it's ok! I've been working eating every fresh peach, plum or summer fruit I can get my hands on...It's a little ridiculous, but oh so good!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear more about your journey with Insanity - that's my plan after my next 10k on 10/14.
How crazy to say that a cool front is a high of 89! I KNOW THE FEELING...i got so pumped to see that tonight's low is 73! haha.
ReplyDeleteGirl i've watched the Hunger Games at least 3 or 4 times since i bought it, NO SHAME.
ooo Insanity...man i'm proud of you! I've heard how hard that is!
I blogged about Honey Boo Boo yesterday and I couldn't believe how many others did, too. I feel less intelligent every time I tune in, but at least I get a good laugh :)
ReplyDeleteI made my boyfriend watch Honey Boo Boo last night and I could hear him silently judging me while I was cracking up. That show is just plain awesome.
ReplyDeleteso sad to see berry season end! hope you have a great weekend :)

You should do Insanity updates! I've done P90X before (though I admit - I never finished) and I like Jillian Michaels but kinda want another one to throw in the mix...I've heard it's pretty killer!
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about Insanity. I just need to get it. P90X was rough, but I have heard Insanity is better.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment at Upward Not Inward. New follower here. :)

Girl...my name is Erin and I WATCH Honey Boo Boo...no shame at all. My husband refuses to watch it, we got into an argument about it...about Honey Boo Boo. I may need an adjustment.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

What a great way to spend a labor day - watching hunger games :) I have heard Insanity is INSANE but everyone I know who has done it loves it. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSeriously Insanity workout is just what it's called... INSANE!!! It's harder for me than P90X!! Glad to see you're hanging in there girlie!
ReplyDeleteAnd LOVE the Hunger Games, but I have yet to grab the DVD! After all, isn't it made to watch over and over?!
xo, Bev
Oh. My. Word. I've watched the Hunger Games I can't tell you how many times since it came out on DVD. I may be obsessed. Plus I love York Peppermint Patties too. They are the best!

ReplyDeleteTell me about it- I watched Hunger games twice and told my hubs I wanted to watch it again tonight and he said "ok but then you HAVE to return it, Laura (he pauses and looks at me) You HAVE to return it." lol. Anyways. Love following along your blog & happy weekend to you!

Totally don't blame you for your Hunger Games binge....it's THAT good!! And I really need to watch Honey Boo Boo...I saw her on toddlers and tiaras and desperately need to see how hilarious she is on her own show. No shame, sweet lady, no shame! There are much worse things we could be watching :).
